Abstract

Women have traditionally been viewed only as capable of performing household chores and not considered important individuals in decision-making processes. However, over time, women have begun to rise and successfully affirm that their presence is significant and should be taken into account. This research focuses on how the @Indonesianwomenleague community explores women's efforts to face new challenges, respond to changes, and inspire other women to actively participate in achieving gender equality in both the digital and real worlds. This study employs qualitative research using the Netnography approach. The findings indicate that the Indonesian Women League community is active in empowering women both online and offline. The Indonesian Women League community has a discussion space on the Discord platform, where members can freely share experiences, seek connections, and develop themselves. The content on the community's Instagram platform includes inspiring stories of celebrities in Indonesian Women League content, educational posts, and events conducted both online and offline. This research is expected to provide references for women's empowerment and contribute to the development of communication theory and understanding. Additionally, the author of this research aims to gain a deeper understanding of the Netnography method and clarify qualitative research, particularly in women's communities. Future research is recommended to expand studies on online communities on other platforms in the digital era.
