Abstract

E-governance in public services has become an increasingly strategic policy issue and is always a topic of discussion. Public services in Indonesia tend to be stagnant, even though their impact is very broad in economic, political, socio-cultural and other life. Improving and improving services in the public sector is the main goal of the government reform agenda in Indonesia. The essence of public service is providing services to the community as a manifestation of the obligations of government officials as public servants. . The Surabaya City Government launched an application called "WargaKu Surabaya" as an effort to realize E-Governance for the City of Surabaya. This Android-based application functions as a medium for complaints and services for residents of the city of Surabaya. Initiated by the Mayor of Surabaya, Eri Cahyadi, this application can be used to convey criticism, suggestions, requests for information, complaints or appreciation to the Surabaya City Government. This research focuses on how the Public Complaints Service through the "WargaKu Surabaya" Application is an Embodiment of E-Governance in the City of Surabaya.
