Abstract

Kendaraan paling umum di.Indonesia adalah sepeda.motor. Untuk melewati kepadatan di jalan, menjadikan kendaraan ini sebagai transportasi alternatif untuk melewati kemacetan dijalan. Tujuan penelitian yakni untuk mengetahui pengaruh perubahan torsi, daya,serta emisi gas buang pada motor Honda Legenda 100cc. Pada saat pengujian yang akan dilakukan perubahan jumlah katup dan perbandingan rasio kompresi. Pengambilan data masing-masing mesin dengan dimulai dari Rpm 2000, 4000, 6000 dengan menggunakan gigi transmisi 3. Maka hasil yang didapatkan yaitu perbedaan antara daya serta torsi pada motor yang sudah dimodifikasi. Head yang menggunakan variasi tiga katup akan terjadi kenaikan torsi juga daya di setiap putaran mesinnya. Hal ini dikarenakan adanya aliran bahan bakar dan udara yang relatif deras dari standarnya dan perbedaan kompresi. Pembakaran terjadi di ruang bakar akan semakin besar menyebabkan dorongan piston, poros engkol juga lebih kuat dan tenaga yang dihasilkan juga akan semakin meningkat. Tetapi konsumsi bahan bakar menjadi semakin boros dikarenakan lubang masuk udara serta bahan bakar semakin besar.
