Abstract

in terms of financial resources and training duration to achieve more ideal results. This research aims to describe the Gerakan Sayang Perempuan Ojek Online (GASPOL) program in order to improve the protection and empowerment of women in Surabaya City. The main issue to be discussed is how this program can provide effective protection and also happiness for female online ojek workers. This type of research is evaluation research using a qualitative approach. Data was collected through field research, observation, and documentation. The results of this study include the use of online ojek services for women available through the GASPOL program, officers of the Office of Women's Empowerment, Child Protection and Population (DP3AK), and the use of online ojek services. The data analysis method was carried out using qualitative descriptive analysis techniques. The findings of the analysis show that the GASPOL program has been successful in raising awareness and improving self�defense skills in dealing with challenging situations; however, there are still some issues, such as fluctuating financial progress limits and students' lack of interest in participating in the lessons. The conclusion that can be drawn from this study is that, although the GASPOL program is effective in providing protection and education, improvements are still needed
