Abstract

The market parking lot is a facility area where vehicles start and stop. This research conducted a study on the parking area at the Modern Citraland market in Surabaya. The problem found in the parking area is the overload of vehicles parked in the area. This causes dissatisfaction among people who pass by or visit the market. One effort to overcome this problem is to analyze public satisfaction with parking spaces at the Modern Citraland market in Surabaya. The research processes observation data, documentation and distribution of questionnaires. Distribution of questionnaires is very necessary to test the validity and reliability of community assessment sample data. There are 2 types of statement items in the questionnaire that the researchers tested, namely community hope and satisfaction items. In distributing the questionnaire, 84 respondents were obtained and there were 30 samples that were suitable for testing. This is based on data on the characteristics of respondents. After processing the validity of the sample data, the researcher continued the analysis using the IPA method. The result of the IPA method is that there is a level of community satisfaction (X ̅=2.56) which is smaller than the expected value (Y ̅=3.77) for the parking lot at the Modern Citraland market in Surabaya. This research also creates a Cartesian diagram where each questionnaire item is in a different quadrant. There are 4 quadrants on the Cartesian diagram. Quadrant 1 is a high expectation value but public satisfaction with the parking lot is rated low. Quadrant 2 values high expectations and community satisfaction with parking lots is rated as appropriate. Quadrant 3 is a low expectation value and public satisfaction with parking lots is also low. Quadrant 4 is a low expectation value but public satisfaction with the parking lot is rated good.
