Abstract

Pada perusahaan PT. Delta Jaya Mas produksi selang motor induksi sangat diperlukan dalam menjalankan berbagai mesin yang digunakan pada proses produksi tersebut. Motor induksi terdiri dari dua bagian penting yaitu rotor dan stator. Tahanan isolasi atau Insulation Resistance (IR) adalah ukurankonduktivitas atau kemampuan isolasi belitan untuk menahan besar arus yang dilewati. Pengujian tahanan isolasi diperlukan untuk mengetahui kondisi isolasi akibat pengaruh kelembaban, suhu lingkungan, waktu pengoperasian. Prosedur pengujian tahanan isolasi untuk motor induksi 3 fasa telah diatur dalam Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) Std 43-2000. Penggunaan insulation tester yang sesuai dan pengujian secara teratur sangat penting untuk memastikan integritas isolasi dan mencegah kecelakaan serta kerusakan pada peralatan listrik. Pengujian tahanan isolasi dilakukan saat kondisi motor off atau mati, supaya tidak merusak komponen yang terkait dengan motor induksi tersebut. Pengambilan data Polarization Index dilakukan dengan cara menguji tahanan isolasi selama 1 sampai 10 menit. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode literatur dengan mengkaji teori – teori sebelumnya agar bisa menyelesaikan penelitian yang dilakukan sekarang. Pengujian tahanan isolasi pada motor induksi 3 fasa dengan daya 75 kW saat kondisi rusak bernilai 515 sampai 602 MΩ dengan salah satu fasa bernilai 0 MΩ, tentu nilai itu dikatakan motor dalam kondisi rusak sehingga terjadi short atau hubung singkat dan setelah perbaikan motor induksi memiliki tahanan isolasi sebesar 2000 MΩ Penurunan resistansi perbulan sebesar 11,6 MΩ dengan nilai degradai dari pengujian Polarizaton Index sebesar 3,5 MΩ, dengan nilai 2000 MΩ jika penurunan tahanan isolasi perbulan sebesar 11,6 MΩ pada tahun 2024 dengan suhu 53°C dan penyebab lain diabaikan maka penurunan sampai 5 MΩ yang sesuai standar IEEE No.43 diperkirakan bertahan selama 14 tahun jika penurunan yang terjadi secara konstan.
