Abstract

High-rise building construction projects have a high risk of work accidents, especially for workers in the field. Therefore, it is necessary to implement a K3 Management System and complete and proper K3 facilities at the work site. The K3 Management System is part of accident planning and control on construction projects. The purpose of this study is to analyze the application of K3 in the construction project of SMPN 9 Kediri City building. The research method used is a survey method with data collection carried out through questionnaires with respondents being project staff from contractors and supervisory consultants. The analysis used Multiple Linear Regression Analysis, F Test (simultaneous), T Test (partial) and Correlation Coefficient Analysis (r) and Deternination (R2 ). The result of this study is that the percentage of occupational safety and health application is 53.9%. While the causative factors that influence the implementation of K3 are Worker Involvement, Implementation of the K3 Management System, K3 Attitudes and Behaviors and Work Environment Conditions. Thus, the construction project of SMPN 9 Kediri City has implemented K3 well, but there needs to be improvements or re-planning to inappropriate criteria, as well as paying attention to PPE and project facilities that are inadequate and incomplete.
