Abstract

UMKM pembuatan kerupuk Bu Tutik merupakan salah satu usahan pembuatan kerupuk yang terletak di Sidoarjo. UMKM ini merupakan usahan yang beroperasi dalam hal pembuatan kerupuk. Kerupuk yang diproduksi adalah seperti kerupuk samiler dan kerupuk puli. UMKM ini mampu memproduksi hingga 150 kg per bulannya yang dimana proses produksi nya masih menggunakan cara yang manual dan sederhana. Tidak ada satupun proses di UMKM ini yang menggunakan mesin untuk proses produksinya. Dengan terjadinya hal tersebut, peneliti memiliki ide atau gagasan untuk membuatkan alat yang dapat membantu proses produksi yang dilakukan di UMKM tersebut. Dengan adanya alat yang diciptakan oleh peneliti, diharapkan UMKM dapat meningkatkan kapasitas produksinya. Sehingga dengan adanya peningkatan kapasitas produksi tersebut, penghasilan yang diterima oleh Bu Tutik sebagai pelaku UMKM dapat meningkat.disamping dari peningkatan kapasitas produksi, alat ini juga diharapkan mampu untuk mempersingkat waktu proses produksi yang akan dilakuka oleh Bu Tutik. Dengan efisiensi waktu yang terjadi, maka besar kemungkinan beban kerja yang ada juga akan turut berkurang. Peningkatan kapasitas produksi dan efisiensi juga menjadi dasar dari pembuatan alat ini. Dengan dilakukannya metode Fault Tree Analysis maka dapat dilakukan analisis secara dalam dan mendetail mengenai hal tersebut.
