Abstract
Dalam bidang industri, aliran fluida merupakan bagian ilmu mekanika fluida yang berperan penting dalam merancang sistem perpipaan. Head loss merupakan pengaruh gesekan fluida (friction losses) dan pengaruh pola aliran terjadi karena fluida harus mengikuti bentuk dari dinding pipa dan juga kenaikan temperature fluida. Penelitian ini mengenai analisa pengaruh variasi suhu fluida dan jenis material pipa terhadap nilai head loss, mengetahui bagaimana pengaruh variasi suhu fluida dan jenis material pipa terhadap nilai head loss pada suatu sistem perpipaan. Variabel yang digunakan yaitu dengan suhu fluida air yakni 20 ℃, 30 ℃ ,dan 40 ℃ serta pada material pipa yang digunakan PVC, Galvanis, dan Besi . Hal tersebut menunjukan bahwa semakin kecil temperature fluida maka semakin besar nilai headlossnya dan semakin kasar jenis material pipa maka semakin besar juga nilai headlossnya. Dimana pada temperature 20℃ headloss sebesar 0,05252 m, sedangkan temperature 30℃ headloss sebesar 0,05152 m, dan untuk temperature 40℃ nilai headloss sebesar 0,05079 m. untuk material dengan nilai headloss tertinggi terdapat pada material Galvanis lalu diikuti Besi, dan untuk nilai headloss terendah terdapat pada Pvc
