Abstract

Sidoarjo is one of the most advanced industrial areas in East Java, the Sidoarjo Regional Hospital Integrated Center Building located on Jl. Mojopahit No. 667, Sidoarjo Regency is one form of effort in complementing the health care needs of the Sidoarjo Regency community and increasing service capacity and expanding reach and medical quality. The Sidoarjo Hospital Integrated Center Building uses a moment-bearing frame system (SRPMK) as the main building system and has 7 floors and 1 roof. The progress of the times at this time encourages civil engineers to adjust to the ever-changing architectural needs. flat slab is one of the frames of the floor slab that is currently viral. After modification, the design of flat slab and drop panel with 150 mm thick, column dimension = 550 mm × 550 mm and shear wall thickness of 200 mm are obtained. the fundamental period of the existing building = 1.343 seconds and the modified building = 0.787 seconds. For the deviation generated by the largest existing building that occurs is Δx = 18.421 mm < Δizin 36.923 mm (Okk) and Δy = 29.616mm < Δizin 30.769mm (Okk) while in the modified building the deviation with the largest value Δx = 15.334 mm < Δizin 44 mm (Okk) and Δy = 30.712 mm < Δizin 44 mm (Okk). The modified building reduces the structural weight by 1357195.826 kgf or 11.52%. In the existing building SRPMK and double system modification using flat slab and shear wall after non-linear pushover analysis with ATC-40 method is classified Immediete Occupancy (IO) which means the building is safe during an earthquake.
