Abstract

Dalam kerangka pembangunan pertanian, agroindustri merupakan penggerak utama perkembangan sektor pertanian, terlebih dalam masa yang akan datang posisi pertanian merupakan sektor andalan dalam pembangunan nasional sehingga peranan agroindustri akan semakin besar, agroindustri pengolahan hasil pertanian merupakan bagian dari agroindustri, yang mengolah bahan baku yang bersumber dari tanaman, binatang dan ikan. Tanaman jagung merupakan salah satu komoditas unggulan setelah padi dan termasuk salah satu komoditas tanaman palawija yang manfaatnya relatif luas terutama digunakan sebagai alternatif karbohidrat yang dikonsumsi manusia serta dapat menjadi bahan pakan ternak hewan, kabupaten Lamongan merupakan daerah dengan potensi hasil jagung paling tinggi menurut dinas Ketahanan pangan dan pertanian, di tahun 2023 mencapai angka produksi yaitu 433.306 Ton. Permasalahan isu strategis pada RPJMD Kabupaten Lamongan yang membahas tentang tingginya potensi peningkatan pertumbuhan ekonomi melalui akselerasi kontribusi sektor pertanian, Kabupaten Lamongan yang menjadi lumbung pangan provinsi dan nasional perlu mengembangkan sektor Pertanian, Perkebunan dan Perikanan dalam pertumbuhan ekonomi dengan penyediaan sarana dan prasarana produksi dan peningkatan kapasitas petani, Sektor perdagangan dan industri khususnya industri pengolahan yang memiliki potensi yang besar untuk meningkatnya nilai ekspor, sehingga harus terus didukung oleh pemerintah dengan demikian maka kontribusi PDRB dari sektor industri pengolahan dan perdagangan terhadap pertumbungan ekonomi akan mengalami peningkatan. Sehingga perlunya merancang sebuah fasilitas agroindustri jagung di Kabupaten Lamongan dengan menggunakan pendekatan arsitektur bioklimatik, agar fasilitas agroindustri jagung dapat merespon iklim sekitar dan mengurangi dampak buruk bagi lingkungan.
