Abstract

World Health Organization menyatakan bahwa remaja pada usia 15-24 tahun mengalami transformasi fisik dan psikologis yang cepat. Fase remaja sangat rentan terhadap resiko yang berkenaan dengan kesehatan serta kesejahteraan jasmani dan rohani mereka. Berangkat dari pernyataan WHO bahwa definisi universal bahwa kesehatan adalah suatu keadaan sehat secara fisik, mental, sosial dan kesejahteraan sosial yang merupakan kesatuan dan bukan sekedar bebas dari penyakit dan atau kecacatan. Sehingga penanganan gangguan mental pada remaja perlu sangat diperhatikan. Lingkungan dan arsitektur memainkan peran penting dalam proses penstabilan mental health remaja. Dalam mewujudkan generasi muda yang sehat secara fisik dan mental, dirancang suatu fasilitas kepemudaan yang mampu mewadahi aktivitas olahraga, pembinaan mental, dan sosial. Konsep Fasilitas Kebugaran Fisik dan Mental adalah Mens Sana in Corpore Sano yaitu didalam tubuh yang kuat terdapat jiwa yang sehat, ungkapan tersebut dibuat oleh Decimus Lunius Juvenalis yang ditorehkan pada karyanya yang berjudul Satire X pada akhir abad ke-2 sebelum masehi.Konsep tersebut memiliki 3 pilar yaitu pikiran yang sehat, tubuh yang sehat, dan sosial yang sehat Ketiga pilar tersebut dibangun secara sinergis, disepakati oleh WHO dan sejalan dengan ungkapan Mens Sana in Corpore Sano agar dapat mewujudkan warga dunia yang sehat jasmani dan rohani. Konsep tersebut diwujudkan melalui penataan bangunan, ruang dalam, maupun ruang luar dan memiliki visi yaitu Arsitektur mampu mengambil peran penting dalam pilar penting dalam kehidupan manusia, mewadahi setiap aktivitas yang diperlukan, mempromosikan kesehatan fisik dan mental yang positif, dan mendukung pandangan holistik mengenai kesejahteraan fisik, emosional, sosial, dan psikologis.
