Abstract

Di dalam perencanaan suatu proyek disamping variabel waktu dan sumber daya, variabel biaya (cost) mempunyai peranan yang sangat penting. Biaya (cost) yang timbul harus dikendalikan seminim mungkin. Pengendalian biaya harus memperhatikan faktor waktu, karena terdapat hubungan yang erat antara waktu penyelesaian proyek dengan biaya-biaya proyek yang bersangkutan. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada pembangunan Casting Mechanical & Civil Work For Oil Storage And Steady Room Workshop Gresik. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mendapatkan total biaya dan waktu percepatan yang lebih efisien dengan menggunakan metode Time Cost Trade Off (TCTO). Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan cara kompresi atau penekanan terhadap kegiatan-kegiatan yang ada di lintasan kritis. Lintasan kritis didapatkan dari hasil penyusunan kegiatan menggunakan software Microsoft Project. Dari hasil analisis dengan alternatif percepatan penambahan jam kerja (lembur), tahap ke-4 adalah tahap kompresi dengan biaya dan durasi percepatan paling efisien. Didapatkan durasi hasil percepatan untuk 1 jam lembur adalah 175 hari, 2 jam lembur 173 hari, dan 3 jam lembur 172 hari. Sedangkan untuk biaya percepatan didapatkan 1 jam lembur adalah Rp. 3.123.406.448 sedangkan 2 jam sebesar Rp. 3.119.117.964 dan 3 jam lembur sebesar Rp. 3.117.248.350. Dari ketiga durasi tersebut, menghasilkan waktu paling efisien yaitu 172 hari kerja dengan efisiensi waktu sebesar 3,37% dan biaya efisien Rp. 3.117.248.350 dengan efisiensi biaya sebesar 0,42% dengan durasi lembur 3 jam.
