Abstract

Waste material often occurs in a construction project. WVaste material occurs due to the presence of materials, time, and resources that do not add value to the progress of construction. To overcome this, it is necessary to anticipate by analyzing the materials used in the construction project to know exactly which materials can cause waste. Waste handling is carried out using the lean construction method, in which material waste is minimized and tries as much as possible to produce value. This waste material research was conducted on the construction project of the Oficial House and Infrastructure of Kompi A Yonif516/CY Kodam VBrawijaya located in Wedoro Anom Village, Driyorejo District, Gresik Regency. This construction activity was carried out on two types ofhouses, namely K-45-type houses and K-70-type houses. The research was conducted on the main structure work and lightweight brick wall work. Based on the results of the waste material analysis, three materials were found that have the potential to cause waste, namely lightweight brick material, concrete iron, and ready-mix concrete. Lightweight brick material with a waste of l036. 74 pieces, plain steel concrete 6 with a waste of 44.99 kg. plain steel concrete & with a waste of 224.43 kg, plain steel concrete 10 witha waste of 488.42 kg, plain steel concrete 12 with a waste of l 7.67 kg, ready mix concrete with a waste of 2.36 m3. From the waste that has been found, it is known that the highest waste level value is found in plain concrete iron & with a waste level value of 5.65%.
