Abstract

Kabupaten Trenggalek, seperti banyak kota di seluruh dunia, mengalami pertumbuhan populasi yang signifikan, yang diikuti oleh peningkatan mobilitas penduduk dengan menaiki transportasi umum, termasuk terminal bus. Terminal tersebut berguna untuk transit kendaraan massal, tempat menurunkan serta mengangkut barang dan juga para penumpang, selain itu pusat memiliki fungsi lain sebagai tempat monitoring, manajemen serta penerapan fungsi angkutan. Terminal Surodakan tipe A di Kabupaten Trenggalek didirikan pada tahun 1976, Meskipun telah beroperasi selama bertahun-tahun, terminal ini belum mengalami peremajaan sejak pembangunan pertama kali. Identifikasi masalah melibatkan peningkatan jumlah penumpang tanpa disertai peningkatan kapasitas, kurangnya fasilitas dan sarana prasarana, fasilitas yang belum memenuhi standar BSN, serta kebutuhan akan pengembangan guna mendukung rencana tata bangunan dan lingkungan di sekitar terminal. Tujuan pengembanganterminal bus Surodakan adalah menghasilkan rancangan yang sesuai dengan perkembangan populasi, kebutuhan, serta rencana tata bangunan dan lingkungan di sekitar terminal. Pendekatan arsitektur berkelanjutan diterapkan dalam perancangan pengembangan ini untuk memastikan keberlanjutan dan keseimbangan antara perkembangan infrastruktur dan pelestarian lingkungan. Pengembangan ini diharapkan dapat meningkatkan pelayanan dan fasilitas terminal, memenuhi standar BSN, serta mendukung Perbup No 51- 2016 mengenai . Dengan demikian, pengembangan terminal bus Surodakan diharapkan dapat memberikan kontribusi positifterhadap mobilitas penduduk dan kesejahteraan lingkungan secara keseluruhan.
