Abstract

Pengembangan yang dilakukan pada Wisata Pantai Batu Bengkung merupakan sebuah langkah yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan daya tarik masyarakat untuk berwisata di wilayah kabupaten Malang, khususnya wisata pantai selatan. Konsep Dasar yang digunakan adalah "Daerah pesisir yang ekspresif dan tanggap bencana Tsunami". Konsep ini akan menciptakan suatu wisata yang unik, menarik, nyaman, dan memiliki tingkat keamanan yang baik karena desain wisatanya yang dapat beradaptasi bila terjadi bencana tsunami. Sehingga memadukan unsur rekreasi dan evakuasi pada suatu pengembangan wisata. Selain itu pengembangan wisata yang dilakukan juga dapat berpengaruh terhadap ekonomi dan sosial masyarakat di sekitar wisata. Serta menaikkan kualitas pariwisata di daerah tersebut.
