Abstract

In building construction there are complexities and risks involved that require careful structural analysis to ensure the safety of the building against earthquakes. This is done to understand the response of the structure of a building, including the strength of a building, the overall performance of the building. One of the concepts of earthquake-resistant building planning is Performance Based Seismic Design or often referred to as PBSD, which is a design concept that aims to predict the performance of building structures in an Earthquake incident. The research was conducted on the construction of an eight-story AMP Office building in the Surabaya area using a reinforced concrete structure. The planning of the AMP Office building has been planned using the latest earthquake regulations, namely SNI 1726-2019. This research was conducted to determine the strength and performance of the building structure using the SAP2000 v22 program, SNI 1726: 2019 and SNI 2847-2019 regulations to analyze cross-section reinforcement such as shear, bending, and torsion in beam and column structures. Furthermore, the analysis was carried out using pushover analysis and using ATC�40 regulations. The results of the reinforcement analysis show that the structural components meet the requirements based on SNI 2847: 2019. The maximum story drift results get a value smaller and less than 0.01 and have met the requirements. The results of the evaluation of the building performance level using the pushover analysis method based on ATC-40 state that the structure can be categorized in IO (Immediate Occupancy) conditions.
