Abstract

This research discusses the maintenance scheduling of the Grading Plant II machine at PT Keramik Diamond Industries Gresik using the Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) Method. The purpose of this research is carried out on critical components of the machine using Pareto diagrams and Failure Mode Effect Analysis (FMEA). The components analyzed are Ventosa, Esser pallet, and Plug, which are important parts of the machine with a high rate of damage. The results showed that the main cause of high downtime on the Grading machine was the three components, with Reliability values, Ventosa 26.91%, Palet esser 37.33%, and Plug 36.62%. Based on the results of the maintenance interval calculation, a maintenance schedule is prepared for the Ventosa, Palet esser, and Plug components. Ventosa is recommended to be maintained every 342.82 hours or about 14 days, Pallet esser every 699.79 hours or about 29 days, and Plug every 675.42 hours or about 28 days. Mean Time To Failure (MTTF) for the three components was also calculated, with the result that the repair time was 0.94 hours for Ventosa, 0.11 hours for Esser pallet, and 0.11 hours for Plug, respectively. To meet the company's needs with a reliability value between 60% and 70%, the recommended maintenance interval is 517.5 hours or 21 days for Ventosa, 736.5 hours or 30 days for Palet esser, and 813.2 hours or 33 days for Plug. The repair time for all three components remains the same as the previous results.
