Abstract

Highways are a means of land transportation that has an important role in human life, especially for economic and socio�cultural growth to support national development. The Balongbendo Highway, located in Sidoarjo Regency, is a national route that functions as a primary arterial road. This road has a 4 lane 2 lane road typewith a median (4/2D) with a road length studied of 5 km and a road width of 7.5 meters. This road is often used by heavy vehicles, medium vehicles and light vehicles. This research was conducted using the Bina Marga Method. The Bina Margamethod is a method in Indonesia which has the final result, namely the priority order and the form of a maintenance program according to the values obtained from the priority order. This method combines the values obtained from visual surveys, namelythe type of damage and LHR (average daily traffic) surveys. ) which then obtains theroad condition value and LHR class value. The priority order is obtained using the following formula: UP (Priority Order) = 17 – (LHR Class + Road Condition Value. Based on the results of the research that has been carried out, the types of damage obtained are edge cracks, crocodile skin cracks, holes and patches. The largestpercentage value occurred at STA 36 + 200 with hole damage with a damage percentage value of 0.002% of actions taken by the periodic maintenance program.
