Abstract

Kerusakan jalan yang ada di indonesia di sebabkan oleh beberapa faktor yang utama kurangya mutu pada aspal tersebut dan juga bisa di akibatkan oleh kendaraan ringan, cuaca atau iklam yang berada di indonesia. Dengan adanya kerusakan tersebut maka penggunaan filler pada aspal berperan penting untuk meningkatkan kualitas dan untuk mengisi rongga dalam campuran, mengikatkan daya ikat aspal beton, dapat meningkatkan stabilitas dari campuran aspal beton AC – BC. Pada penelitian ini selain menggunakan abu serbuk gergaji kayu jati dan semen portland filler. Peneliti akan mencoba kombinasikan filler serbuk gergaji abu kayu jati dan semen Portland. Dalam penelitian ini jumlah filler yang digunakan ada 3 variasi yaitu 1.5%, 2%, dan 2,5% untuk setiap kadar aspal yang digunakan yaitu 4.5%, 5%, 5.5%, 6%. 6.5%. Pada penelitian kali ini menggunakan 135 benda uji dari 4 varian komposisi yaitu komposisi normal, komposisi serbuk abu gergaji kayu jati 100% dan semen 0%, Komposisi serbuk gergaji abu kayu jati 50 % dan semen 50%, Komposisi serbuk gergaji abu kayu jati 0% dan semen 100%. Pada pengujian ini melibatkan parameter Marshall, density , void in mix, void in mineral agregat , void filled with bitumen , stabilitas, flow marshall quotient, kadar aspal optimum . Hasil yang didapat pada penelitian kali ini menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan filler dari serbuk gergaji abu kayu jati dan semen telah memenuhi persyaratan Spesifikasi Umum Bina Marga 2018 revisi 2. Tetapi pada beberapa variasi yang lebih unggul pada variasi 2% dengan menunjukkan nilai Stabilitas, (Flow) pelelehan memenuhi persyaratan Spesifikasi Umum Bina Marga 2018 revisi 2.
