Abstract

Transportation is avery important means for people in Indonesia and even everywhere.The infrastructure needed for transportation is roads. Good roads will be able to speed up the process from one place to another. The cases tudy of Jalan Raya Padangan is located in Tulangan sub-district,Sidoarjo Regency. This road connects Tulangan sub-district with Krembung sub-district. As well as an alternative connecting road between Sidoarjo Regency and Mojokerto Regency.This road is 3km long and 4.5m wide. The analysis method uses the PCImethod. The PCI method itself is amethod witha system for assessing pavement conditions based on the type and level of damage that has occurred and can be used as a reference in maintenance efforts. This research aimstodeterminethetypeofdamagethatoccurred onJl. RayaPadanganTulangan Sidoarjo, findoutwhat thePCIvalue isat theresearchlocation,aswell aswhat treatmentalternativesareusedat theresearchlocation,namelyJl.RayaPadangan Tulangan Sidoarjo. TheresultsofthisresearchwereonJl.RayaPadanganTulanganSidoarjofrom STA0+000–3+000usingthePavementConditionIndexmethodfoundseveraltypes ofdamage,crackedcrocodileskin, totaldamage333,99m²(19,83%),obesity, total damage 12,69 m² (0,75% ), block cracks total damage 575,88 m² (34,19%), subsidence totaldamage9,90m² (0,59%), edgecracks285,59m² (16,95%),holes total damage16,56m² (0,98%), road total damage3,15m² (0,19%)patch total damage310,43m² (18,43%), roadshoulderdowntotaldamage2,80m² (0,17%) , transverse longitudinal cracks total damage 123,28 m² (7,32%), loose grain weatheringtotaldamage10,28m² (0,61%).ForPCIvaluesonJl.RayaPadangan Tulangan Sidoarjoisat52.07in themedium(Fair)category
