Abstract

KGU merupakan perusahaan yang bergerak dalam bidang industri percetakan (offset) yang memproduksi buku seri cerita. Karya Gemilang utama selama 6 bulan terakhir mengalami penurunan hasil produksi, dan tidak tercapainya target produksi.Hal tersebut terjadi karena mesin komori sering mengalami kerusakan sehingga perlu dilakukan perbaikan atau bahkan penggantian terhadap komponen. Kerusakan mesin membuat produk yang dihasilkan mengalami kecacatan, terdapat 3 jenis kecacatan yaitu warna pudar, bayang dan kertas rusak (sobek) dengan batas toleransi kecacatan yang ditetapkan oleh perushaan yaitu sebesar 2%. Terjadinya downtime terhadap mesin komori karena kondisi mesin yang sudah tua membuat perusahaan ingin melakukan penggantian mesin dengan mempertimbangkan cashflow perusahaan. Tujuan dilakukkannya penelitian ini yaitu, mengetahui nilai kelayakan investasi dan berapa lama tingkat pengembalian modal serta seberapa besar tingkat resiko terhadap keputusan investasi mesin Heidelberg. Perusahaan akan melakukan penggantian mesin komori, dengan melakukan investasi mesin Heidelberg dengan harga Rp. 760.000.0000 dengan umur ekonomis selama 8 tahun. Analisis investasi yang digunakan yaitu NPV sebesar Rp 489,484,803 > 0 , IRR sebesar 19,23 %, payback periode untuk pengembalian modal investasi yaitu selama 3 tahun 4 bulan, profibility index sebesar 1,64 > 1. nilai ekstepasi E(V) dari tahun ke-1 hingga tahun ke-8 yaitu sebesar Rp. 390,684,336 dan nilai koefisien variabel (nilai resiko) sebesar 1,63%<10%. Berdasarkan analisis investasi mesin Heidelberg layak untuk di investasikan, karena dengan adanya investasi mesin tersebut maka dapat memperlancar proses produksi, meningkatkan hasil produksi serta pendapatan perusahaan.
