Abstract

In the initial planning, the Red Doorz Development Project on the Kerto Menanggal VIII road will be completed within 126 calendar days at a cost of IDR 3,278,512,000. However, when there was a delay up to the 7th week of 13.25%, this caused the overall project completion time to be delayed from the planned schedule. This makes researchers feel the need to raise this problem and can provide a comparative solution, if the project is added by overtime or labor, it can accelerate the completion of the project so that the contractor does not receive a late fee. This study uses 2 alternative accelerations, namely the addition of working hours (overtime) 3 hours per day and the addition of labor, with a target project completion time on December 28, 2019. Then the researcher will compare the costs to be incurred by the contractor if: (1) the project late (2) the project is accelerated by the addition of working hours (3) the project is accelerated by the addition of labor. This study uses the Microsoft Project 2019 tool to create a network and to look for critical activities in this Red Doorz Kertomenggal construction project. The results of the analysis of the acceleration of the Red Doorz Kertomenanggal construction project include: (1) The total cost if the project late is IDR. 3,326,475,588.78. (2) The total cost after accelerating with the addition of working hours (overtime) is IDR. 3,377,407,245.89. (3) The total cost after accelerating with the addition of labor is IDR. 3,281,571,666.90
