Abstract

Regional Original Revenue (PAD) is revenue obtained by the region that is levied based on local regulations in accordance with statutory regulations. PAD is a component to calculate the financial independence of a region in implementing regional autonomy. The higher the PAD revenue of a region, the greater the level of independence so that dependence on transfers from the central government and other local governments decreases. One of the largest contributors to local revenue is sourced from local tax revenue. The granting of authority to regional heads has resulted in the collection of various types of local taxes and levies, one of which is Land and Building Tax. Based on Law Number 28 of 2009, the transfer of PBB P2 to local taxes has great potential to increase PAD. Regional Revenue is an important element in the Regional Budget (APBD) because it is a source of revenue that can be used to fulfill financial needs in the region. Therefore, the Government of South Aceh Regency must optimize sources of PAD revenue including from PBB P2 revenue. The formulation of the problem in this research is "How is the evaluation of policies in the payment of land and building tax (PBB) on the increase in Regional Original Revenue of South Aceh Regency" The research objectives are "To analyze and explain the results of the evaluation of policies in the payment of PBB on the increase in Regional Original Revenue of South Aceh Regency".
