Abstract

First of all, I would like to thank Allah SWT for His blessings and mercy,so I can complete the thesis entitled "Redemption in Duong Thu Huong’s Paradise of the Blind". This study can be finished as one of the requirements to get bachelor degree in English Department, Faculty of Cultural Science University of 17 Agustus 1945 Surabaya. A great appreciation is awarded to Dra. Anik Cahyaning Rahayu, M.Pd,the thesis advisor, for her patience and guidance during the writing process of this thesis. My deepest love of affection is also dedicated to my parents, Ilma Mulawardana, S.H. and Masanik who have never stopped loving me. I would like to thank my brothers and sisters (Anton, Adam, Sella, and Fira) who always provide support and entertain me during the study and the completion of this thesis. I would like to thank my best friend Nuri Trijayanti and Sevi Nuriyatuzzahro for the friendship that never last. I would like to thank dearest my friends in R class 2015 at the Faculty of Cultural Science. My gratitude also goes to KKN friends who always pray and provide motivation. I would like to thank colleagues at PT. Multisera Makmur Sejahtera especially for Umita Ardianti and Mashuri who always pray and give motivation to me in completing this thesis. I would like to thank Amy Nirmala who has been my best friend since childhood. I also would like to thank people who cannot be mentioned one by one for their pray, help, and motivation. May God rewards them with all their kindness. This thesis entitled "Redemption in Duong Thu Huong's Paradise of the Blind" finally can be finished.
