Abstract

This research discusses the feasibility of a tofu business in Sumbermulyo Village, Jogoroto District, Jombang Regency. In line with the development of increasingly diverse local food production, tofu is one of the local food products produced in a modern way that has appeal among the public because it is an economically affordable source of protein. Tofu also has variations that are used for interesting dishes. This research used descriptive research involving 6 informants as research subjects. Data was collected through interviews, and the analysis method used involved consideration of fixed costs, variable costs, total costs, demand, and profits. Evaluation of business feasibility is carried out by calculating the B/C Ratio (Benefit Cost Ratio), R/C Ratio (Revenue Cost Ratio), ROI (Return On Investment), and BEP (Break Even Point) so that it can be seen whether the business is worth pursuing or not. . The results of this research can provide a comprehensive understanding of the potential for sustainability of the tofu business in Sumbermulyo Village, Jogoroto District, Jombang Regency. Based on the results of the calculation of the B/C Ratio, the highest B/C result was 0,30 and the lowest value was 0,16. The B/C Ratio value obtained is >0, so the business is worth pursuing. The R/C calculation obtained the highest value of 1,30>1 and the lowest value of 1,16>1. The results of the analysis of ROI produced an ROI value>0 with the highest value being 8,27% and the lowest value being 1,50%. The unit BEP calculation produces the highest value of 386 units and the lowest value of 159 units and the highest rupiah BEP of IDR 964,163 and the lowest value of IDR 674,356. Based on the results of the calculations that have been carried out, it can be concluded that the tofu business in Sumbermulyo Village, Jogoroto District, Jombang Regency is worth pursuing.
