Abstract

This research is motivated by environmental performance. The aim of this research is to determine the influence of the relationship between green competence building, green employee involvement, green work life balance which can have an impact on environmental performance mediated by green organizational culture, Chair of the PGRI Higher Education Study Program in East Java. The grand theory of this research is the AMO theory (Ability, Motivation, Opportunity). The sampling technique uses a saturated sample or census. The sample in this study was 185 respondents from the Head of the PGRI Higher Education Study Program in East Java through an independent survey. This research instrument used a questionnaire and was analyzed using SEM analysis, using the Warp PLS Version 7.0 analysis tool. used to analyze the outer model, inner model and hypothesis testing using pvalue. The research results show that the direct influence of green competence building and green employee involvement has a significant effect on green organizational culture. Then green organizational culture has a significant effect on environmental performance. The relationship between green work life balance does not significantly influence green organizational culture. The results of this research show that there is an influence of the intervening variable, namely green organizational culture, on the relationship between green competence building, green employee involvement and environmental performance. However, green organizational culture cannot be an intervening variable in the relationship between green work life balance and environmental performance. This research shows that the practices of green competence building, green employee involvement, green organizational culture play an important role in implementing environmental policies in encouraging the creation of environmental performance at PGRI Universities in East Java.
