Abstract
The research entitled “Impor of Basic Necessities for Trading Sebatik Island, Nunukan Regency” aims to 1) analyze the legality of imported goods from Tawau�Malaysia entering Sebatik, Nunukan Regency. 2) How are the trade arrangements for imported basic necessities for residents of Sebatik Island, Nunukan Regency, regarding imported basic necessities entering Sebatik Island, Nunukan Regency. This research is normative legal research. The approach used in this research consists of a Legal Approach. Types and sources of legal materials used are primary legal materials, secondary legal materials and tertiary materials. The results of this research are 1) Trade in imported Goods for Basic Materials in Sebatik according to Law 7 of 2014, Trade according to Government Regulation Number 34 of 2019 and Trade according to the 1970 Border Trade Agreement which outlines the privileges of border residents, namely Sebatik Island. 2) How are the trade arrangements for imported goods on Sebatik Island, Kab. Nunukan, the results of which discuss the Economic Development of Sebatik Island, Currency Value Adjustments along with the Implementation of Trade Regulations for Imported Goods on Sebatik Island.
