Abstract
Human needs in life must be fulfilled, one of which is primary needs. Various types of clothing products are widely used by the community and can be further developed in Rungkut District, Surabaya City. The fluctuating investment value and production value are the main problems in this research. Apart from that, what results in fluctuations in investment values and production values is due to home industry convection businesses experiencing problems regarding capital, marketing, technology, access to information, and so on. Due to these problems, home industry convection businesses in Rungkut District, Surabaya City can experience failure and even bankruptcy. The aim of this research is to determine the feasibility of the convection industry business in Rungkut District, Surabaya City. This research uses a qualitative analytical description research method. This research used 6 (six) home industry convection businesses as useful informants in collecting data through observation, interviews and questionnaires. The research results show that the average R/C calculation result from the six home industry convection business informants is 2.74. The average ROI calculation result from the six home industry convection business informants is 1.0%. The average B/C of these informants is 1.74. The conclusion is, based on analysis tools in the form of R/C, ROI, and B/C carried out on six informants as home industry convection business owners in Rungkut District, Surabaya City, it was declared feasible to run.
