Abstract

This study aims to analyze the income and profit as well as financial analysis of watermelon farming in Mojosari Village, Puger Subdistrict, Jember Regency. This study used informants as many as 10 watermelon farmers in Mojosari Village, Puger District, Jember Regency. The analytical tools used in this research are total production cost, revenue, profit, business feasibility. The results obtained from this study are the average total costs incurred amounted to Rp40.510.783/ planting period, the average rEvenue obtained amounted to Rp128.725.000/planting period, and the average income obtained amounted to Rp88.214.217/planting period. The results of the calculation of 4 (four) parameters of business feasibility on 10 watermelon farmers in Mojosari Village, Puger District, Jember Regency can be seen that. ROI obtained an average value of 138,12, R/C Ratio obtained an average value of 3,15 ˃ 1, B/C Ratio obtained an average value of 2,15 ˃ 1 and BEP Unit with an average of 1.662, while BEP Rupiah with an average of Rp8.449.120. Therefore, watermelon farming in Mojosari Village, Puger District, Jember Regency is financially feasible to run.
