Abstract

Inventory Management or Inventory Control is a variety of policies in a complex method that determines the amount of inventory levels, when reorders are made and ensures accurate quality and time in ordering inventory items (Sunyoto, 2012). This research was conducted at the Yariz Putra Agent Shop with the amount of data studied was 80 types of goods. This research aims to optimize inventory value so as not to cause shortages and excess inventory. The research methods used are the inventory turnover ratio (ITR) method, ABC classification, Q method for determining SS and ROP, and the EOQ method. The results showed significant variations in ITR, with Minyak Kita Ref 2lt (692 times), Minyak Filma Ref 2lt (453,1 times), and Minyak Rose Ref Ilt (176 times) having the highest ITR values, indicating rapid stock turnover. In contrast, items such as Minyak Masku Ref Ilt (1.9 times), Mi Sedaap Soto Madura (1.5 times), and Minyak Sovia Ref Ilt (1.1 times) have low ITR values, indicating slow sales. In the ABC Classification, it was found that class A was the largest, namely 14.54% for the Kanji Rose 25kg item. Meanwhile, in calculating multi-item SS, ROP and EOQ, it was found that the number of orders and ordering times for goods varied greatly, with the fastest ordering time being 10 days and the longest being 111 days.
