Abstract

This study aims to compare Pertamax (pertamina), S uper (S hell) and Bp 92 (AKR) fuels against thework on the 4-stroke Honda Vario 125 New gasoline engine. With the same octane rating of 92 ron will affect the amount of torque, power and specific fuel consumption of the engine. The engine that will be used for this test is the Honda Vario 125 New. The test uses dynotest to determine the amount of power and torque of the engine, various variations in rotation and road tests to determine its fuel consumption. From the data obtained from testing the performance of the combustion motor, the highest power value on Bp fuel is 9,456 Hp with an engine speed of 7000 Rpm. The highest effective power value of Bp 92 fuel is 9,378 Hp with an engine speed of 7000 Rpm. The highest torque value on Bp 92 fuel is 9.60 N.m with an engine speed of 7000 Rpm. The highest torque moment value on Bp 92 fuel is 9,414 N.m with an engine speed of 7000 Rpm. The highest AFR value on Bp 92 fuel is 20 with an engine speed of 5000 Rpm. The highest SFC value on Bp 92 fuel uses a speed of 5000 rpm with a yield of 11.426 (gr/(kw/detik)). While the smallest SFC value on Pertamax fuel uses a speed of 7000 rpm with a result of 4.894 (gr/(kw/detik)).
