Abstract
PT. Romi Violeta, which is a company operating in the furniture sector, is located in Buduran District, Sidoarjo Regency, specializing in wood and rattan. The products produced during the last 3 years after the pandemic are Console Table, Bachelor Chest, and Working Chair. The main material for making this product is wood, apart from that, to beautify a product, veneer is needed. Veneer is a product that comes from mindi wood and mahogany wood that the company uses. The problem that occurs is the initial process of cutting the wood which will be made into thin sheets in the form of veneer using outside services such as services from Sidoarjo and Mojokerto. The use of these services causes companies to inflate production costs. So the researcher gave a suggestion, namely to buy a rotary veneer machine which is used to cut the wood into veneer sheets. To invest in a machine, you need to make calculations before buying it. The first is using the Net Present Value method which gives a value of Rp. 609.668.695. The two Interal Rate of Return methods give a result of 14.64%. The three Break Event Point methods provide results of 2 years and 3 months. Fourth, using the Benefit/Cost Ratio method which gives a result of 1.00. Finally, using the Double Declining Balance Depreciation method gives results of IDR. 976,982,340. Based on the method above, investment in a rotary veneer machine is said to be feasible. Because the results using the methods above meet the requirements of the method.
