Abstract

Almost all the time there is an increase in vehicle volume, especially during peak hours such as leaving or returning from work. The existence of several problems that arise at road intersections makes the author interested in conducting research and analysis based on theory and direct observation. In this case what is discussed is the traffic situation that occurs at the Gedangan Intersection, Sidoarjo Regency (North: JI. Surabaya-Malang), (South: JI. Ahmad Yani), (West: JI. Raya Sukodono), (East: Jl. Raya Jenggolo). The method used in this research is the Indonesian Road Capacity Guidelines (PKJI 2014). Based on the data obtained, traffic flow (Q), capacity (C), degree of saturation (DJ, queue length (PA), delays (T), as well as behavioral factors that influence intersection traffic conditions can be calculated. can be maintained. From data analysis, road service level results were obtained: Jalan Surabaya - Malang with DJ = 0.93, Jalan Ahmad Yani with DJ = 0.93, Jalan Raya Jenggolo with DJ = 0.93 and Jalan Raya Sukodono with DJ = 0.93. The average delay figure = 718.3 sec/hour. It can be concluded that the performance of the Gedangan intersection, Sidoarjo Regency is at service level F.
