Abstract

In the Pakuwon City Surabaya housing development project through observation researchers found that there was a delay in the construction process in the installation of brick walls that affected the productivity results of the project. In the construction of the Pakuwon City Surabaya project which is ongoing and in line with this research (quantitative) Data collection was carried out by means of questionnaire dissemination. The labor factor is often a fairly significant differentiator of the results on the project. To be able to obtain results on this study, interviews and quizzes were conducted as research data. The research method used to obtain the labor productivity value of brick wall installation is work sampling with field observation for 6 days. The result obtained from the recapitulation of all these observations is that the labor productivity in brick wall installation work has a fairly high presentation, with the results of the analysis there are 3 factors that affect productivity including wages, environmental conditions and work experience. Calculation of LUR for brick wall installation work is carried out by performing a recapitulation of the data as a whole. Total effective, contributory, ineffective work is summed according to their classification. The value of each work is used for the calculation of LUR. Judging from the results of the Productivity and effectiveness measurement showed that this 77.62% total average worker LUR was derived from the recapitulation of observations on 30 brick wall installation workforces. This has an impact on the level of productivity of brick wall installation work quite satisfactorily.
