Abstract

Concrete is a composite material consisting of water, cement, fine aggregate and coarse aggregate. Agreagat is a natural rock consisting of granules of certain diameter which amounts of araound (60%-75%) of the total volume of concrete. Fine agregate is aggregate whose grains are smaller than 4,80 mm. Coarse agregat can be in the form of gravel, crushed stone, and split white a grain diameter between 5 mm to 40mm .Good concrete has good compressivestrength properties, is easy to work with, is economical, has durability, on of these properties that influences it is the size of the coarse aggregate. The meaning of aggregat size does not only refer to the size of the aggregat but also to the gradation of the agregate. The aim of conducting this research is to determine the effect of aggregat gradation on slump, bulk volume, infiltration and compressive strength of concrete.in this research, we used a method that refers to SNI 03 – 2834 – 2000. The research results show that the slump value for concreate with a maksimum diameter is 10mm, and combine aggregat 5 – 10 – 20mm gets the same slump value, namely 10cm. The highest specific gravity value was obtained from combined aggregat 5 – 10 – 20mm whith a value a of 2461,80kg/m3 . For the aggregat infiltration value with a maksimum diameter of 10mm, it has the smallest infiltration value with a value of 4,1494%. The highest compressive strength value was obtained from combined aggregat 5 – 10 – 20mm giving a compressive strength value of 34,96 Mpa
