Abstract
The purpose of this research is to find out the procedural law for executing a court decision in the form of chemical castration by a doctor and to find out whether the doctor has the right to refuse to carry out chemical castration. The research method used in this writing is normative legal research, with a statutory approach and a conceptual approach. Meanwhile, the legal materials used in this research are primary legal materials, secondary legal materials and tertiary legal materials. The results of this research show that the procedural law for executing a court decision in the form of chemical castration is after the court decision has permanent legal force. then the defendant must undergo the main sentence first, after the defendant has served the main sentence then the defendant immediately undergoes additional punishment in the form of chemical castration through the clinical stage first then through the conclusion stage and if in conclusion the convicted person is declared fit to carry out the chemical castration action then the execution can be carried out. held. Besides the doctor having to carry out the chemical castration action on the convict, the doctor also has the right to refuse. This is caused by non-compliance with the Code of Medical Ethics which requires healing of patients.
