Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of national economic recovery policies through social assistance, tax incentives, and investments on economic growth in the city of Malang, both partially and simultaneously. This study employs a quantitative descriptive research method using secondary data obtained from the Badan Pusat Statistik (BPS), relevant department reports, and other general publications. The research object in this study is the economic recovery policies in the city of Malang. In showing the effect of national economic recovery policies on economic growth in the city of Malang in this study, the multiple linear regression analysis method is used. The result of the multiple linear regression equation in this study is Y = 4181842.9 + 138.564X1 + 5.42X2 + 2932.287X3 + e. The data analysis results indicate that the variables of social assistance and investment have a significant and positive partial effect on economic growth in the city of Malang, while the tax incentive variable does not have a significant partial effect on economic growth. However, simultaneously, national economic recovery policies through social assistance, tax incentives, and investments have a significant influence on economic growth in the city of Malang.
