Abstract

Pesatnya teknologi saat ini memudahkan masyarakat mendapat berbagai macam informasi, salah satunya sistem informasipencarian tempat kos. Rumah kos merupakan salah satu tempat penyedia jasa penginapan atau tempat tinggal sementara. Seringkali ketersediaan jumlah kos tidak sebanding dengan pencari kos, maka pencari kos harus mencari informasi lebih cepat agar mendapat tempat tinggal sesuai yang diinginkan. Pemilik kos dalam mempromosikan rumah kosannya juga masih secara konvensional yaitu dari mulut ke mulut, menyebar brosur., atau menempel pengumuman di tempat-tempat umum. Berdasarkan permasalahan tersebut, maka diperlukan sistem informasi pencarian tempat kos berbasis web, sebuah sistem yang dapat menjadi tempat bagi para pendatang dari luar kota yang merasa kebinggungan dalam mencari rumah kos yang sesuai, serta membantu pemilik kos dalam mempromosikan rumah kosnyasecara online lewat website.
