Abstract

Saat ini sebagian besar institusi pendidikan dilengkapi dengan laboratorium komputer untuk memberikan pelatihan bagi siswa yang memenuhi syarat untuk kehidupan profesional mereka. Dalam lingkungan pendidikan saat ini, kebutuhan untuk menyediakan ruang kelas dengan teknologi pendidikan terbaik yang tersedia sangat penting. Namun, memasukkan teknologi ke dalam pembelajaran bukanlah tanpa tantangan. Tantangan terbesar adalah memungkinkan siswa untuk memanfaatkan teknologi pembelajaran sambil menjaga kelas tetap produktif dan terkelola dengan baik. Dalam ruang kelas yang dikelola dengan buruk, proses belajar mengajar tidak akan efektif. Sebaliknya, ruang kelas yang dikelola dengan baik dapat memberikan lingkungan belajar positif yang akan meningkatkan kinerja siswa dan prestasi akademik mereka (Farag, 2018). Maka dari itu, dibutuhkanlah sebuah sistem informasi penyewaan laboratorium berbasis website sehingga dapat membantu manajemen kelola laboratorium mencapai proses kinerja yang lebih mudah dan cepat, serta berfungsi sebagai penghubung antara pihak pengelola laboratorium dan pihak yang membutuhkan pemakai laboratorium. Adapun tujuan dilakukannya penelitian ini yaitu untuk meningkatkan pelayanan laboratorium dalam pemberian informasi dalam kegiatan penjadwalan ruang laboratorium.
