Abstract

Every year the total population in Larantuka city is increasing, it has an impact on the increasingly crowded traffic volume in the Niaga Street in the Larantuka Shoping center area but not offset by the growth of road infrastructure. Density that often occurs on certain days and hours due to the number of vehicles passing through Niaga road. The analysis was conducted using 2014 Road Capacity Guidance to calculate road capacity and degree of saturation. The data were obtained from observation in the field for 3 days and presented in the form of vehicle volume table. From the analysis, it is known that the capacity of Niaga on the busy day (on Wednesday) is 1065,636 cents / hour and the degree of saturation is 0.67.
