Abstract
Global Warming is a natural condition that causes erratic weather changes. The above statement is a new problem for home industry business owners, especially mid�level home industries engaged in repair services, generally these home industries provide limited workspace and are required to do their work for a short period of time, in addition to the short period of time the home industry requires engaged in repair services are required to produce good and neat work so that consumers are satisfied. But the thing that becomes a problem and is difficult to predict is the natural condition, which makes it difficult for home industry owners and implementer s to do work quickly. These difficulties underlie the writer's interest in designing an automatic canopy roof prototype based on the Arduino Mega 2560. This automatic canopy roof system is very much needed in the home industry because the workings of the automatic canopy roof prototype will open or close automatically so as not to interfere with outdoor work activities, at the design of this automatic canopy roof prototype can move at different speeds when closing based on the current rainfall, rainfall will be determined by the readings of two FC-37 rain sensors. When the FC-37 rain sensor does not read rain, the canopy will open automatically.
