Abstract

One way to implement sustainable forest management is through a process of certification is internationally known as the Certification Ecolabel. The certification program will be able to run very well if it had the support of communities around the forest and are already incorporated in the organization LMDH. The LMDH’s supporting toward certification program will accelerate the implementation of the ecolabel certification program in forest caretaker unity (kesatuan pemangku hutan/KPH) Perum Perhutani office in East Java. The research method used is using a purposive random sample of 23 KPH in East Java was chosen 3 KPH analysis used is the mean test pairs. The study results showed that LMDH Beginner, Medium and LMDH seeded at KPH strongly support certification programs that are being or will be. This is evident from the test results mean paired difference in KPH Madiun, Ngawi and Bojonegoro located in the departure area accepted which means there is no difference among the three types of LMDH in support of the certification program
