Abstract
Increasing technology in this day and age is very advanced and developing. Robots whose performance is a sensor to collect information in detecting objects is very important in electronics and instrumentation technology. Infrared and ultrasonic sensors are suitable for measuring distance using the reflected signal from the transmitter to estimate it. The human follower robot prototype using an ultrasonic sensor with an Arduino microcontroller used in this study is equipped with wheels so that it can move and provide information remotely. Hereby presents an analysis of the performance of infrared and ultrasonic sensors for distance measurement on human follower mobile robots using ultrasonic sensors with an Arduino microcontroller. The sensor is installed on the mobile robot prototype. Fuzzy logic is applied to control the speed of the robot. Data transmission of object distance information is sent via the sensor to Arduino. The results of the performance analysis in this study can be implemented to help humans in their daily activities, with a large scale this robot can be used to help transport goods to replace trolleys in a super market.
