Abstract

Gedung (SMK) Ma’arif Nahdlatul Ulama Driyorejo berada di bawah naungan Yayasan perguruan Ma’arif Nahdlatul Ulama. gedung ini berdiri di tanah seluas 4.750 m2 dengan dua bangunan yang masing-masing terdiri dari 3 lantai dan 2 lantai. Bangunan tersebut berdiri di daerah perbukitan dan permukiman tanah datar di antara bangunan rumah penduduk. Selain itu masih terdapat hamparan perkebunan dan sawah di belakang lokasi.dimana pada gedung SMK Ma’arif Nahdlatul Ulama Driyorejo tidak terdapat sistem penyalur petir seharusnya gedung yang memiliki ketinggian perlu sistem penyalur petir agar terhindar dari bahaya yang diakibatkan oleh sambaran petir. Penelitian ini merancang sebuah sistem penyalur petir. Dengan menggunakan standar yang diperbolehkan. Didapat hasil kerapatan sambaran petir per tahun sebesar 20,28 km2/ tahun dengan area cakupan ekivalen yang terluas sebesar 8297,045466m2, sambaran petir kebangunan paling besar 0,086 dengan tingkat proteksi I pada seluruh gedung SMK. Kemudian untuk memproteksi seluruh gedung diperlukan 16 batang splizer agar melindungi seluruh gedung. Kemudia sistem pentanahan memebutuhkan 3 batang elektroda dengan mendapat hambatan sebesar 1.14 Ω.
