Abstract

Predictions on drug procurement are urgently needed because there are still many calculation errors for drug procurement going forward resulting in sizable losses. This study aims to examine the application of predictions using the Holt-winters exponential smoothing algorithm in the development of drug room information systems in FKTP. The prediction system that will be designed in this study will run by involving several actors starting from the pharmacist in charge who will make predictions using an algorithm then make corrections to the results of the predictions that have been made so that the pharmacist in charge will send it to the doctor in charge to do a review of the results. predictions that have been made. With this research, it is hoped that it can help to estimate drug procurement in the future so that it can reduce the percentage of losses and increase performance efficiency. The Holt�Winter exponential smoothing algorithm works by smoothing data in the past with several constants and then comparing the smallest error values from the results that have come out to get the maximum results. It can be concluded that the application of the Holt-winters exponential smoothing algorithm in the process of developing a drug procurement prediction system is quite suitable so that it can be used as a drug procurement prediction system in the information system at FKTP.
