Abstract
This study aims to determine the effect of subsidized fertilizer restrictions and their impact on farmers' income and the amount of rice farmer production. The research method used is qualitative method. Kemdian, The population in this study as a whole, both subjects and objects targeted in this study as many as 6 farmers. Sampling is done by simple random sampling by determining it randomly. While the data used by analysis is descriptive data. This study shows that there is a difference between farmers' income before scarcity and after scarcity. The average income of farmers before scarcity reached Rp 12,299,250/1x planting season with total costs incurred of Rp 6,075,750, while the average income of farmers after fertilizer scarcity decreased to Rp 10,537,083/1x planting season with an increase in total costs of Rp 7,838,250/1x planting season. The solution obtained by farmers in overcoming restrictions on subsidized fertilizers has not been resolved optimally. So that until 2023, the Kacang Village government has made a breakthrough to partner with parties who are able to provide rice farming loan capital and control farmers in organic farming programs using natural fertilizers as an alternative. This is done when there are restrictions on subsidized fertilizers, so that people can temporarily switch to using non-subsidized fertilizers.
