Abstract
Penjualan adalah salah satu kunci usaha. Penjualan yang tidak meningkat bisa membuat suatu usaha menjadi collapse dan mengalami kebangkrutan. Sistem Rekomendasi adalah sebuah sistem yang mampu memberikan prediksi produk-produk yang diinginkan oleh pengguna. Diharapkan dengan rekomendasi produk yang sudah dipersonalisasi dapat mendorong penjualan di suatu bisnis. Dalam konteks ini, sistem rekomendasi bertindak sebagai alat strategis untuk mengoptimalkan pengalaman pengguna dan mendorong pembelian lebih lanjut. Penelitian ini menerapkan metode content-based filtering. Metode ini menggunakan pendekatan rekomendasi berbasis kemiripan item. Terdapat tiga variabel yang digunakan sebagai bahan pertimbangan urutan produk yang direkomendasikan, yaitu nilai kemiripan, jumlah terjual, dan rating. Berdasarkan uji coba, didapatkan hasil bahwa sebanyak 77.3% pengguna tertarik dengan produk yang direkomendasikan. Sedangkan sisanya sebanyak 22.7% lebih memilih membeli produk yang lain. Jadi dapat disimpulkan bahwa sistem rekomendasi mampu mempengaruhi pengguna untuk membeli produk yang direkomendasikan, sehingga bisa berdampak pada penjualan.
