Abstract
Acts of sexual violence are immoral acts that are very detrimental to victims and have violated the rules in force in a country, until now they are still rife in the surrounding environment. This has backfired on anyone, especially vulnerable creatures, namely women and children, because acts of sexual violence do not look at anyone and how they are targeted, and can happen wherever we are. Acts of sexual violence are included in serious cases, for this reason, for whatever reason, sexual violence cannot be resolved peacefully. This study aims to determine the urgency of implementing restorative justice in solving sexual violence problems and recommending models for implementing restorative justice in sexual violence problems. This study uses research methods that are normative juridical law. Meanwhile, the approach method uses the statutory approach, case approach, and contextual approach. This study aims to explain that in this era of all-sophisticated development, especially in cases of sexual violence which are increasingly following this development, it becomes a challenge for the community not to consider this problem a trivial matter, and so that the community knows better how to respond if cases of sexual violence occur in around the environment. The resultsof this study indicate that not all cases of sexual violence can easily end peacefully, by allowingthe perpetrators to enjoy life without feeling guilty. But there are alternative sanctions as a form of responsibility to victims and their families.
