Abstract

The increase in population coincides with the rapid economy, especially in terms of the activities of businesspeople who require the construction of office buildings. To streamline space with new functions, the Voza Office Tower Office Building took the initiative to utilize two floors in the building to be converted into a Multifunction Hall or Meeting Room. The purpose of this study was to analyze the strength of the structural elements of beams, columns, slabs, drift between stories and the performance of the building structure after changes in the value of live load on the building in terms of the building change function. In this regard, the floor loading design with a live load of 240 kg/m2 changed to 479 kg/m2 for the Meeting Room. With these changes, the calculation of the strength of structural elements is reviewed with SNI 2847: 2019, earthquake resistant building design in accordance with SNI 1726: 2019 and nonlinear static analysis (pushover analysis) to review the performance behavior of building structures. Displacement In view of the results of the analysis, the largest deviation between floors is 62.2 mm and does not exceed the allowable deviation of 76 mm. For the results of pushover analysis using ATC-40, it is known that the performance level of building structures in the Damage Control category for the X direction and Immediate Occupancy for the Y direction with a maximum total drift value of 0.01 < 0.01419 < 0.02.
